President Bush Attends National Religious Broadcasters 2008 Convention

President Bush Attends National Religious Broadcasters 2008 Convention

Highlights from President Bush speaking at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee

Bush: "I want to share one story with you. Some of you may have heard me tell you this before. But one of my best friends in the international community, someone with whom I spent a lot of time talking about how to defeat extremism and defend the peace, was the Prime Minister of Japan. And what I found most interesting was the history of my family. My father, like many of your relatives, signed up to fight the sworn enemy, the Japanese. And 60 years later, his son is at the peace table, planning and thinking about how we can confront this form of extremism in the short term and the long term. Something happened between Ensign Bush and Bush President 43."

What happened between Ensign Bush and Bush President 43? We bombed a whole bunch of innocent Japanese people into submission.

Bush: "We saw firsthand how the lack of freedom and opportunity in the Middle East directly affects our safety here at home. Nineteen men killed nearly 3,000 people because someone convinced them that they were acting in the name of God. Murder of the innocent to achieve political objectives is wrong and must be condemned."

But George, didn't you just use, as an example to justify our current wars, the murder of innocent Japanese people in order to achieve political objectives?

Arkansas Residents Sentenced for Structuring Currency Transactions, Money Sent to Middle East

Arkansas Residents Sentenced for Structuring Currency Transactions, Money Sent to Middle East

Federal banking laws require banks to record the transaction and obtain identification information for individuals purchasing bank checks of $3,000 or more. In order to evade those reporting requirements, individuals often purchase multiple checks in structured amounts slightly less than $3,000.

Through two convenience stores owned and operated by Eyad and Linda Hassan, the defendants obtained cash to purchase official bank checks in structured amounts of just under $3,000. To avoid reporting requirements, the indictment alleges that defendants repeatedly made multiple structured check purchases on the same day. For example, on May 12, 2005, the defendants purchased six checks in the amounts of $2,900; $2,800; $2,800; $2,800; $2,900; and $2,760. On May 19, 2005, they purchased six more checks in the amounts of $2,800; $2,900; $2,800; $2,900; $2,800; and $2,600. The indictment states that the checks were ultimately sent overseas to the Middle East.

Homeland Security Holds Cyber Storm II Exercise

Homeland Security Holds Cyber Storm II Exercise

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is conducting the largest cyber security exercise ever organized. Cyber Storm II is being held from March 10-14 in Washington, D.C. and brings together participants from federal, state and local governments, the private sector, and the international community.

Cyber Storm II is the second in a series of congressionally mandated exercises that will examine the nation’s cyber security preparedness and response capabilities. The exercise will simulate a coordinated cyber attack on information technology, communications, chemical, and transportation systems and assets.

“Securing cyberspace is vital to maintaining America’s strategic interests, public safety, and economic prosperity,” said Greg Garcia, Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Cyber Security and Communications. “Exercises like Cyber Storm II help to ensure that the public and private sectors are prepared for an effective response to attacks against our critical systems and networks.”

Cyber Storm II will include 18 federal departments and agencies, nine states (Calif., Colo., Del., Ill., Mich., N.C., Pa., Texas and Va.), five countries (United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom), and more than 40 private sector companies. They include ABB, Inc., Air Products, Cisco, Dow Chemical Company Inc., Harris Corporation, Juniper Networks, McAfee, Microsoft, NeuStar, PPG Industries, and Wachovia.

Things seen and heard at the "Internet Marketing Conference"

Last year I went to the "Internet Marketing Conference" with a buddy of mine. I never did get a chance to report on some of the crazy things I saw and heard while in attendance that day.

I went because my older friend had already paid for a ticket and said that free lunch was included. It's the "Internet Marketing Conference" that seems to show up at a hotel in every city across the country at least once a year and is heavily advertised by snail mail.

Those poor old folks had no idea what they were walking into.

Having already run a few websites in the past and dabbled in some Internet marketing work, I was fully aware of most everything that they discussed at the conference.

Essentially what this group does is charge people a few thousand dollars for a website and access to some tools that are available very cheaply or altogether free to those who are aware.

Do you need to pay a few grand to get www.iwanttosellsomeworthlessshit.com and access to otherwise free affiliate programs? No, of course not. These people were getting ripped off.

The tactics they used to achieve the sales were downright dirty.

All major countries are involved in nearly all aspects of the planning and execution of Project Lucy.

The project has included performing psychological experiments on massive populations without the consent of the people. In fact, the people are paying for it. More...

Text of March 8, 2008 Bush Radio Address to Nation

Can you spot the lie told by Bush in the very first paragraph?

Later on, did he really say that they have to use these special torture methods, because of the Internet?

THE PRESIDENT: Good morning. This week, I addressed the Department of Homeland Security on its fifth anniversary and thanked the men and women who work tirelessly to keep us safe. Because of their hard work, and the efforts of many across all levels of government, we have not suffered another attack on our soil since September the 11th, 2001.

New World Order Magic

The Patriot Act is a fraud

The Patriot Act is a complete fraud. The people who passed it were not elected according to the Constitution, as shown here and here, so they could not have put such a piece of work into action.

Take this into account when thinking about the wiretap immunity bill. The Patriot Act is a fraud and those who passed it are all frauds who were not elected according to the United States Constitution.

How can people with no authority pass an immunity bill?

How did people with no authority pass the Patriot Act?

They didn't pass the Patriot Act. According to the United States Constitution, there were no eligible politicians to pass such an Act.

No man or woman can be President of the United States

No man or woman can be President of the United States

I'm going to try this again since my first attempt is not going over as smoothly as hoped. Perhaps out of excitement I put together my thoughts and words in a way that makes them unclear to the reader.

According to the U.S. Constitution, there cannot be a President of the United States.

Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Ron Paul can't be POTUS. Hillary Clinton can't be POTUS. Mike Huckabee can't be POTUS. John McCain can't be POTUS. Barack Obama can't be POTUS.

The Chicken Noodle Soup Revolution

It could be said with reasonable accuracy that Ron Paul entered the 2008 presidential contest with 0% among Republicans, nationally. He's now sitting between 4% and 25% regionally, nationwide, depending on where you sit.

From a business perspective, given all that has been overcome in terms of censorship and pure hatred for the product, Ron Paul 2008 has been a resounding success.

Imagine starting up your own small chicken noodle soup company. Before you have even sold your first batch, dozens of websites have sprung up declaring your chicken soup to be the worst soup on the planet. Everywhere you go to try to advertise your new chicken noodle soup company, haters are there to stain your name even though you have done nothing to them and they haven't even tried your soup.

"This soup is racist because it says white and dark meat on the label!"

"This soup is evil because it says 'Incorporated' and is sold for profit!"

"Look at the guy he just sold a bowl of soup to. He's crazy! You can't buy soup from that vendor because he hangs around crazy people!"

Roberto Clemente: Not quite a God, not just a man

Roberto Clemente - Most of us have had a hero or two at some point in our life. Some heroes act merely as temporary inspirations in our lives. Other heroes achieve a more permanent "Godly" status. Many perceived heroes turn out to be not so heroic after all. ...

Roberto Clemente took personal pride in what he did and he strove to make skin color irrelevant. Look again at how Clemente went out in this life. Can you doubt his sense of individual responsibility? He was just one man yet was on his way to attempt to do what entire governments either will not or cannot do. Clemente never did get to live in a free society. He faced economical and racial adversity yet, according to what history says, accomplished more in his short lifetime than most of us can ever hope to.

Hoosiers should bring back Mike Davis

Indiana made a mistake in letting Mike Davis go

Given the recent re-enlightenment of how Kelvin Sampson snares the superstar players it leaves this lifelong Hoosier fan wishing for the days of old.

By "wishing for the days of old" I do not mean that I wish for the return of Bob Knight. While I still regard Knight as a coaching legend I have come to realize that he is a punk. And I say that with all due respect, Sir Knight.

Sampson cheats to win. Knight beats to win.

Yes, I know that Bob is retired now.

Mike Davis? He doesn't cheat or beat and you cannot say that he doesn't win. Davis was 115-79 at Indiana and had a respectable 55-41 Big Ten record.

I am not the only Hoosiers fan who recognizes the 2002 NCAA Tournament as the highlight of the modern IU era. That wonderful tourney run was largely due to the coaching skills of Mike Davis.

Will Ron Paul hold his home court?

Home Court Advantage for Paul?

Texas and Pennsylvania may stand in the way of a John McCain nomination

The three largest remaining Republican primary/caucus states are Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Those three states account for 302 of the 940 or so remaining delegates.

John McCain needs over 400 delegates to clinch the Republican nomination. He may pick up another 100 from D.C., Virginia and Maryland. We'll find that out soon enough. Even with a huge gain tomorrow, McCain has his work cut out for him if he hopes to roll into Saint Paul with the nomination secured.

Ron Paul Super Tuesday Preview

How will Paul do on Super Tuesday?

Ron Paul wins Alaska caucus! Ron Paul outpaces rivals in North Dakota, Minnesota and Colorado! Paul pulls 15% in California! Montana Republicans choose Paul. Romney concedes defeat to Paul in West Virginia.

OK, just practicin'. What can I say? I'm excited for the possibilities of Super Tuesday in regards to the Ron Paul Revolution. I state firmly that his current 4% national polling numbers will be proven very inaccurate.

My head is not totally in the clouds though. If even one of the above headlines were to come true I'd be very pleased. With second-place finishes in Maine, Nevada and Louisiana to date, I do not expect Ron Paul to emerge as the clear frontrunner after the Super Tuesday primaries and caucuses.

Paul will likely pull single-digits in a number of states, maybe even a dozen of 'em. More...

News from the Ron Paul Revolution

Novoselic a Ron Paul fan, new Paul ad debuts, Ron releases a message

Former Nirvana bassist, Krist Novoselic, is apparently a fan of Ron Paul. As a Democratic State Committeeman and through his political action committee JAMPAC, Novoselic has become increasingly active in politics. He was a speaker at the 2006 Libertarian National Convention and has authored a book, Of Grunge and Government: Let's Fix This Broken Democracy.

A Ron Paul Republican, Joseph Arminio, is taking on Rep. Wayne T. Gilchrest for Maryland's 1st Congressional District. Those men and three other candidates took the stage at a debate in Chestertown. In typical fashion, Arminio was prescribed Xanax by an opposing candidate because he dared to mention the erosion of our Constitution. MIT awarded Arminio with a doctorate in national defense policy and international relations.

Can Ron Paul go the distance?

Can Ron Paul go the distance?

In 1988, Ron Paul ran for president and got about 0.5% of the national vote. For some that was the measuring stick for how they thought Ron would perform in this election. He'll get a percentage or two, tops, and then the Revolution will fade away into blissful silence. A year, several double-digit primary finishes and thirty-million dollars later, those same elements who've been proven wrong over and over again are still pretending as if Ron Paul is already out of the race.

Richard Pryor, Chris Rock and Ron Paul

Richard Pryor, Chris Rock and Ron Paul
A conversation between Pryor, Rock and Paul on the issue of racism
Warning: Adult language ahead

Much fuss has been made about a few old Ron Paul newsletters which contain what some perceive to be statements based on racist views of the author. So, to offer an alternative perspective to what you may be reading about the issue, I'd like to present to you a conversation between Richard Pryor, Chris Rock and Ron Paul.

Pryor: "I went to Zimbabwe. I know how white people feel in America now; relaxed! Cause when I heard the police car I knew they weren't coming after me!"

Rock: “Yeah, I love being famous. It's almost like being white, y'know? People are nice to ya, they give you the benefit o' the doubt... You drive a flash car down the freeway and the cops'll pull y'over and before they even look they like 'What the fuck are you doing?' and then they see it's you and they like 'Awww man, it's Chris Rock, it's okay, man we thought you was a nigga'.”

Paul: "Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."
